Europe’s largest family-run car hire firm Sixt has launched a regional campaign to support grass-roots community sport and get teams motoring ahead to victory this season.

To celebrate their announcement, Sixt has teamed up with the Journal to offer one lucky Under-18s sports team the chance to win a set of shirts and some team accessories, including water bottles, balls and kit bags.
Football, rugby and hockey teams are eligible to enter and the winning team will also be offered the use of a weekend’s free minibus hire from Sixt’s local branch, on Brewery Road in Islington, to transport the team to their next match.
To enter, teams must submit a team representative, who must be over the age of 18. They must provide full contact details including a phone number and email address – and up to 250 words explaining why their team deserves to be kitted out by Sixt.
All entries should be sent to sixtcompetitions@eulogy.co.uk by 6pm on Friday February 17. A team of judges will review all entries and the winning team. Terms and conditions apply.
The winning team must have a representative over the age of 18 who holds a valid UK drivers license in order to claim the use of a Sixt minibus.
The competition winner is responsible for supplying all petrol for the vehicle and Sixt will not be liable for petrol costs.
In all matters regarding this competition, the decision of Sixt will be final and binding.
Hornsey started their life in Division Two in style on Saturday, securing a thrilling last-gasp win over local rivals North Middlesex thanks to a superb diving catch from Chetan Patel at Tivoli Road.
