West End actor Tim McArthur and actresses Louise Clayton (middle) and Jackie Marks launch this year’s cabaret season at Lauderdale House.

The first show kicks off this Sunday at the venue in Waterlow Park, Highgate, and runs for a further five Sundays.
It promises performances from a range of well-known stage performers.
Katherine Ives, general manager at the venue, said: “It’s a performer, a pianist and an audience. You can come and be cosy in our gallery with people who have played major roles in the West End.
“They come and they sing their own favourite songs and they chat. It’s sort of getting to know them through their music.”
Details have been released this evening of how to get your share of 4,000 tickets to the exclusive Olympic Torch Relay evening celebration at Alexandra Palace in July.
