A Tottenham flat was severely damaged in a fire earlier today.

Firefighters were called to the flat in Lido Square at about 12.28pm today.

Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters from Tottenham fire station fought the blaze, which was under control by 1.11pm.

Nobody was in the flat, which is in a three storey block believed to be owned by Haringey Council, at the time

The fire service has yet to release the cause of the fire, but it is thought to be accidental.
