The classical ballet dancer gave a soloist performance in front of star-struck students at the first birthday of dance school Kidz On The Hill, at the St Andrew’s Church Hall, in Alexandra Park Road, Muswell Hill, on Tuesday.

The youngsters also got a one-off lesson from the star, who honed her moves in Milan and has since performed in the Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty for the Vienna Festival Ballet Tour.

School head Lou Turner said: “The kids were mesmerised and in a trance watching her dance, because they had never seen anything like that before. It’s a rare treat.”

The students then got to grill Miss Marsibilio about life in the spotlight, asking her why she wore a tutu and how she managed to stand on the tips of her toes.

The children, all aged between one and nine, are preparing for a show at Jacksons Lane, in Highgate, this June.
